What is a Family Nurse Practitioner?

Family Nurse Practitioners conduct physical exams and perform diagnostic tests and procedures. Family Nurse Practitioners offer healthcare to the entire family, from late adolescence into adulthood. Care is generally aimed at the maintenance or improvement of health via the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, illness, injury and other physical and mental impairments in human beings.
