What is an Internal Medicine physician?
Our Internal Medicine physicians are Board-Certified and have received extensive training through medical school and residencies. They are trained to diagnose a broad spectrum of diseases, manage severe chronic illnesses, and promote the prevention of disease through preventive care and counseling.
What is a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)?
Physician Assistants conduct physical exams and perform diagnostic tests and procedures. They are trained to diagnose a broad spectrum of diseases and manage severe chronic illnesses. A PA in the field of Internal Medicine offers healthcare to adults. Care is generally aimed at the maintenance or improvement of health via the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, illness, injury and other physical and mental impairments in people. PA-Cs have received special certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
